PERFORMER

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Mariya grew up in a very close-knit family of six children. 

A 3 year BA in Acting at Italia Conti Academy and life long singing tuition has provided Mariya with a solid grounding in stage and screen. Since her graduation into the acting world, Mariya has worked with companies such as Channel 4, 4 Music, Sony, Nike, Colour TV, Yellow Earth Theatre, Soho Theatre, Ichiza Theatre Company, The Royal Opera House, and most recently Lighthouse Pictures on the film Annihilation with director Alex Garland. 

Quite prominently, since drama school Mariya has been a devoted member to Theo Adams Company, for several years.
